Well this is the first post on the computer that I bought my family for Christmas. It's pretty nice, about double or so the speed of the laptop that I have at school. Although one thing confuses me about is this whole user accounts deal. I have loaded some stuff from school on here, and it put a shortcut on the desktop. My mom, my sister, and I all have a seperate user accounts...I removed the shortcut from one of their desktops and it also gets removed from mine.
Ah so one of the better things about the University of Washington is that we start at the end of September, but it makes us have weird vacation dates. So we get to go and start school again 3rd.
During this break I have done absolutely nothing. But it was nice.

Back to the old stuff

So SocialJournal is currently down. They wrere not making enough money for it to survive. I met a handful of people, but haven't been involved with all them lately. Just been busy this quarter with all the junk. But it is nice having a bit of a break.

I started this blog over a year and a half ago. I did do a decent job of updating it until I switch to SocialJournal. It was a bit simplier because things like commenting and the mood stuff were already set up.

Hopefully, winter quarter isn't as bad as autumn quarter was.

Broswer change

Yeah, I have been using firefox more and more, it is pretty awesome. Soon it'll work better with google and such. I am not sure why I am posting this but I am.

Tuesday, I have my one and only final, which it is more like a exam, because it's only weeks 6-10 of Autumn Quarter. I have been studying all weekend for it, but feel like it is all pointless. Then most people that I know are leaving pretty soon after, but not me! I still don't have a rid, and on top of that, I have to stay until Friday afternoon anyhow because I am doing an evaluation.

I also have a few Gmail invites leftt, so if you are interested in one let me know.

Thanksgiving Fun

Thanksgiving is coming up and I think it maybe some crazy thing. I am thinking Becky is coming up next Wednesday night after work to get me. My plans for Thanksgiving is unknown offically, but I am assuming that I am going to my grandmother's house. But that is totally unknown, she almost cancelled Christmas last year for some reason, even though she's been doing it before I was born. Mom told me that she and Becky bought me a present today, I'm like great...pssst don't tell but I'll get a few UW shirts in the next week, lol.

Napolean Dynomite

....sucked I think. I "viewed" it last night. and yah, I laughed like three times. People were like it's so funny. Not laughing at all untill half way through, I figured might as well count. I started it around 1am, so I will say my lack of laughing is due to my tiredness?

Yes I Am Still Here

Yeah so I just wanted to do a quick update here. Uhm...My chair is just about worthless, both of my front shocks are gone. Eh don't call me picky because I don't have shocks anymore. Frankly I laughed when I was told I would have shocks. The only purpose they serve is to keep the front wheel's (casters) mounting bracket away from the frame. So it's really bad that they are rubbing together...In other words I can't turn wooohooo!

Lately, I have been just trying to survive. The workload is kind of killing me. I am trying to take no so many classes in winter. I have an appointment with an adviser in MGH tomorrow to settle it out. Tonight I am going to finish the reading for English. But the past few days I can only read a page or two before stopping. Unless I am totally understanding the author wrong, he says you get the disability I have after autism. Well, autism starts a year in or so. And my disability happens at birth or a person gets a hardcore blow to the head. So, I would like the author to explain that one. I contacted my prof about this inaccuracy and she said that potion of the book was relayed to him by an autistic person. BUT if you wrote a book and were reporting something, wouldn't you get more than one source?
I am currently working on learning a new program at work, so I can be the specialist for it. I made it about a third of the way through the manual, the manual is only about 525 pages. WOO...That's all for now

Lalala

Microsoft was pretty cool yesterday. But of course the four hours I was there wasn't enough. I got there around 9:30, or so. The other guy who rode up with me and I got a little tour of the office. Then my mentor took me to a site off campus, to do some work. That was really cool, except I cannot say too much more about it. I also learned a lot about what I need to learn, but only the beginnings are touched on in CSE mid-400 lvl...::sigh:: So I have a lot of outside work to do. But no time! Unfortunately, I also didn't get to hand out my resume...

I am just sitting at work now, bored, and absolutely nothing to do. I left most of my homework on my desk in my dorm. Somebody loaded this program that is called QuickShield and it blocks all popups, and the links. So I get to hold constantly.
